Short Answer Component
The Short Answer component allows you to create open-ended questions in your Google Forms using Form Builder Pro. This guide walks you through each customizable field for this component.

Detailed Fields Walkthrough
- Question: Type the actual question you want to ask. This will be displayed as the main prompt for respondents.
- Description: Add extra context or instructions to clarify your question. This is especially useful for complex prompts.
- Image URL: Include an image with your question by pasting its URL. Images help enhance engagement or provide visual context.
- No/Required: Decide if this question is mandatory. Select Required to ensure respondents answer it before proceeding.
- Point Value: Assign points to this question, ideal for quizzes and grading purposes.
- Correct Answers: Enter the correct answer(s) for graded quizzes. These are used for automatic assessment.
- Feedback Text: Add custom feedback for respondents. Tailor it for correct or incorrect answers.
- Feedback Link: Provide a URL to additional resources or explanations related to the question.
- Feedback Link Text: Customize the text for your feedback link, such as "Learn More" or "See Explanation."
Generating Your Form
After completing the fields, you're ready to generate your form. Follow these steps:
- Go to the Extensions menu in Google Sheets.
- Select Form Builder Pro and click Generate Form.
- In the Generate New Form dialog, provide a name for your form and choose Quiz as the form type.
- Click Create.
Once the form is generated, you'll see two options:
- Edit Mode: Open the form to make further adjustments.
- View Mode: Preview the form as your respondents will see it.

When viewing the form:
- The question, description, and any attached image will be displayed.
- Correct answers appear below the question, with support for more than three answers if needed.
- Custom feedback text and a feedback link guide respondents to further resources or explanations.
