Dropdown Component
The Dropdown component allows you to create a compact list of options in your Google Forms using Form Builder Pro. This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough of configuring this feature for your forms.

Configuring the Dropdown Component
Follow these steps to set up the Dropdown component:
- Question: Enter the primary question for your dropdown. This will appear as the main prompt for respondents.
- Description: Add context or additional instructions for your question to guide respondents.
- Image URL: Include an optional image to enhance the question's visual appeal or provide context.
- Required: Specify whether this question is mandatory. Choose "Required" to ensure respondents cannot skip it.
- Point Value: Assign a point value for grading purposes. For example, set it to "3" for this question.
- Shuffle: Enable this option to randomize the order of dropdown options for each respondent.
- Correct Answers: Define the correct answer(s) for quizzes. For instance, specify "Olympus Mons" as the correct answer.
- Feedback: Add custom feedback for correct or incorrect answers to guide respondents.
- Options: Populate the dropdown with a list of answer options. You can add or remove rows in your sheet to adjust the options as needed.
Managing Options
You can add or remove options directly from your sheet. For example:
- To add an option, copy the current row, right-click, and select "Insert row above" or "Insert row below."
- Update the text in the new rows to reflect the new options.
The options will appear in the dropdown when the form is generated. If the shuffle option is enabled, the order will vary for each respondent.
Generating Your Form
Once your configurations are complete, follow these steps to generate your form:
- Go to the Extensions menu in Google Sheets.
- Select Form Builder Pro and click Generate Form.
- Choose a form name and click Create.
Open the form in "View Mode" to verify the Dropdown component's configuration. If shuffle is enabled, refresh the form to see the options appear in different orders.
