Multiple Choice Component

The Multiple Choice component allows users to select one option from a list of predefined answers. It's ideal for questions with a single correct answer. However, you can also define multiple correct answers and randomize the order of options to prevent order bias.

Sequential Instruction Manual

  1. Question: Enter your question in the provided field. This will be displayed as the main prompt for respondents.
  2. Description: Add context or instructions to clarify your question.
  3. Image URL: Include a visual aid by pasting the image URL, enhancing engagement and understanding.
  4. Point Value: Assign a score to the question. For example, set it to "4."
  5. Shuffle Options:
    • Select Yes/Shuffle to randomize the answer order each time the form is loaded.
    • Select No/Shuffle to keep the options in a fixed order.
  6. Incorrect Feedback: Add fields for:
    • Text: Display constructive feedback when respondents select an incorrect answer.
    • Link: Provide a URL to learning materials for incorrect answers.
    • Link Text: Customize the link text, such as "Learn More" or "See Explanation."

Adding Answer Options

Add answer choices to your question. If you need more options, right-click a predefined option, select Copy, and paste it under the existing options. You can also add images for each option, making the question more engaging.

For example, if the question is about the sky color on Mars:

  • Blue sky
  • Green sky
  • Red sky
  • Yellow sky
  • White sky

You can define one or more correct answers. For example, if both Red and Yellow are acceptable answers, they will both be marked as correct.

Navigation Between Sections

In the "Next Section" column, specify the section to navigate the respondent to. This feature helps you control the flow of your form based on user answers.

Generating the Form

  • Opening the form in a regular browser session and observing the option order.
  • Opening the same form in an incognito window and comparing the option order.
